Description
This is the latest and probably last development drawing of my manga OC "Molly". Ever since I finished the third drawing of her a while ago, I always felt there were some parts of her likeness that I thought could be done better. So I did some modifications to her side and forehead bangs, made the eyes more circular, tightened her collar, brought the hair behind her neck down a bit lower and made some slight adjustments to her maid headband. At first I wasn't sure if I could improve her very much from drawing #3, which I originally thought was pretty good; but now that I'm finished this one I can see how much better it is. So the next time I get the urge to work on her more I probably do a shaded and then a colored version of her.Related content

Yup, that's the plan. It'll be the last stage of what I hope to do with this; but I still need to draw more of her first, and maybe add a background to.

Thanks, I'm glad you think so; but I decided to take a break from this one for a while and work on some other stuff. Plus I'm still trying to decide how her body and maid's uniform should look.

Nice work, you achieved a nice and clean lineart (which is really difficult for some people, including me XD). She also reminds me of Rem from the anime Re:Zero (amazing one btw). Keep it up!

Thanks, I've always thought keeping the line work sharp and clean makes drawings look better.
As for the character Rem, I'm afraid I've never heard of her; but there are so many anime characters out there, I'm not too surprised that my OC might look a bit like someone else.

Yeah, I'm really pleased by how well this version of her turned out. I still need to design the rest of her body and maid uniform; but that might take a while. I'm still not sure how they'll look yet. Even though she's a manga character, I want her to have a somewhat more realistic looking body and for her uniform to add to her cuteness; and when I do get around to coloring her I'm just hoping that that version of her turns out as well.

Thanks, I hope when I color her she'll turn out as well. As for the character, she's my first serious attempt at drawing Manga. I've always wanted to try it and she was an idea I had for a character, so I decided to draw her in a manga style. And as for her story, well I'm still working on it; but basically she's an American girl who was going to university in Japan. But she got expelled and is afraid to go home and face her parents. So until she can decide what to do next she's working as a maid. I know that doesn't sound like much; but believe me, that's just scratching the surface.
