SPOILER WARNING: SWAN LAKE STORY!!!

In one of the endings of Swan Lake in the app game Time Princess, Signy marries Aldous and they take the throne together while Audwin departs for life alone in the nearby forest. However, Audwin does not leave the villain he first came to the kingdom as. Instead, he leaves as a trusted friend and powerful ally who cares greatly for his twin brother and sister-in-law. Some time later, Signy bears twin girls. Aldous fears that their daughters may fall subject to the same dark omen beliefs he and his twin did that caused such a strain on their relationship and tore their kingdom apart. Luckily, the night of the twins' births, Audwin returns to the castle to meet his nieces and uses his magic to bless the two, his magic once corrupted with hatred and anger now a force of love and protection. He promises Signy and Aldous that the blessing of his magic will help to protect their daughters from dark omens as he does not wish to see them undergo the same torment he and his brother had been subject to all their lives before Signy saved them.

As the twin princesses grow up, Signy and Aldous often took them to the forest to spend time with their uncle. Audwin would entertain them with his magic and he would introduce them to the creatures of the forest from the cuddliest bunny to the fiercest bear, their parents happily watching over them and proud to see the man Audwin had become. Audwin would even begin to teach them magic of their own, careful not to teach them the dark arts he had been taught in his youth and that magic should come from a place of love than anger as he did not wish for them to make the same mistakes he made. The twins absolutely adore their uncle and are always eager to spend time with him.

(I've been very much enjoying the app game Time Princess. In the game, I get to explore different stories, worlds, and points in history where I can effect the outcome and change fate. It's also a pretty fun dress-up game! Swan Lake was one of the first stories I managed to complete fully while I'm still working on the others. In one of the endings, you can marry the swan prince Aldous and the story ends with the two dancing together happily as the owl sorcerer Audwin departs for the forest. I felt a little sad that Audwin seemed to never interact with his brother and Signy again after finally being able to find peace and make amends with his brother, so I decided to extend the ending a bit with my own interoperation of what could happen next in the story if it were to ever continue. So, I made it so that Audwin remained close to his brother and Signy and became a loving uncle to their twin daughters. While I originally imagined Signy and Aldous only having one daughter, I just couldn't resist giving them twins once I recalled the omen of royal twins that plays a major part in Aldous and Audwin's backstories. I get the feeling that if Signy and Aldous did ever have twins, Audwin would become very protective of them and use all the power he had in him to protect them from meeting the same fate he and his brother did. I seriously encourage you guys to check out Time Princess if you can! It's so much fun and you actually learn quite a bit about history and different cultures through it!)
