I've always liked the French word 'salut', because it can mean either 'hello' or 'goodbye', depending on what kind of mood you're in. I can't think of any words in English that can mean two completely opposite things like that. It's hard to tell if Miku is waving hello or waving goodbye, so the first word that came to my mind was SALUT! (not to be confused with 'salute', which she could also be doing I suppose). The correct pronunciation is "SAH-luy". And that ends our French lesson for today class.

...moving on, this was just a panel from my figure-manga , but I was so pleased with the final result, that I decided to expand it out into wallpaper size.

To get the cute happy face, I took a picture of my Kagura Figma in roughly the same position, then photo-shopped her eyes and mouth onto Miku's head. It's impossible to get the Miku Figma to look 'up', so I replaced her neck joint with a piece of wire. I used a lot of photoshop-wankery to put everything together, so hopefully it's not too obvious. (^_^; )
