Description One of the more devious weapons that has recently gained popularity among Ellisian war maidens and their lords alike.

The design puts nearly all of the weight at the hooked tip and pommel, and hardly any at all elsewhere. This allows tremendous force to be applied to that wicked little point both during overhand chops, and when thrown.

The dip adds utility for hooking an enemy's weapon and then twisting it from their hand. Lesser blades may even be broken by this sort of parry. This same 'catch, then twist' routine has also been used to great effect on the enemy's limbs themselves.

Apart from the the potential the war sickle has as a fighting, throwing, and parrying knife, it has also made itself useful for more ordinary tasks. The hook just as well performs as a climbing tool, machete, ice pick, and back-scratcher.

to me this is incredibly aesthetically pleasing but its all just so self contradicting, like the fact that the main body of it has an edge but it doesn't have any cutting use or how there just couldn't be any weight in that pommel good enough to actually work as a counter-balance, the one finger groove at the front is totally fine in next to any setting and is a very comfortable type of grip but you wouldn't be able to get hold of it because the guard is in the way of it being easy to grab onto, it looks more like a heavily modified kukri as apposed to an actual sickle and in regards what you said about it being able to twist weapons out of peoples hands could work but it looks next to impossible to do that with when the spike is in the way of the gap that is meant to catch to blade but with all that said i still really like the design and i hope you wont take this as just someone being an asshole but hopefully some constructive criticismΒ

Used Autocad for the lines, then Photoshop to color it in. However there are alternatives. If you don't already have SketchUp, here's a link: [link]

Excellent. No one appreciates a good backscratcher anymore. More backscratchers!
