We picked the bishōjo version from Yamashita's art and figures (Kotobukiya), we loved the design and we needed a comfortable costumes to wear in couple.
Details are not optional for us, so we started working on these costumes last october, I made my first jacket and.. I burned it!
Costumes are not 100% compete, but we wanted to take some photos for testing some effects with the PH

You kinda failed.. I'm not saying it is bad or anything, but both are supposed to be horror characters, not cute girls xD Just looking at the quality it's pretty good though

I read it, but I'm kinda traditional in that matter - there are so many nice female characters to cosplay, but I think both Freddy and Jason were designed as killers and should be kept as killers, even if some 3rd party redesigns them.. But whatever floats your boat, if you like it, then do it, it's just something that disturbs ME..

Yep, I just looked it up.. Cosplay = the art of making a costume as close as possible to the original.. The original are these two.. And I didn't say that your cosplay disturbs me, because they are well made, but I wanted to tell you that I for one would rather see a good, true to the original cosplay. There are a lot of nice female characters which would look fantastic if you cosplayed them, but I don't think that the cute theme fits neither Jason nor Freddy.
I definitely didn't mean to offend you, but rather give you feedback that not everyone appreciates the characters..

you should criticize that figures first of all saying it to yamashita that re-designs lot of characters ^^'
we are faithful to these figures, not to freddy and jason from the movies ^^

That means that both Jason and Freddy and trademarked and copyrighted by New Line.. If you use someone else's characters you have to give them credit by law - that doesn't mean at all that Yamashita is working with them.. Do you have anything else?

Yes, I've something else. There is an ACCORD. Because Kotobukiya produces and SELLS two action figures based on original design by yamashita of Freddy VS Jason Film by New Line Cinema www.amiami.com/top/detail/revi… Yamashita also works with other great companies like Marvel. You can see it googlin'. But if you don't want to read and understand, stay in your ignorance.

OK, teach me how to google then. All I find: animeartbooks.net and similar, where you can see his work, which is overly sexualized btw, his tumblr and a french wikientry (which is odd, since I don't speak French and if you use English it redirects you to Square Enix).. So tell me where I can find an English entry about him and I will gladly learn. If I was as ignorant as you try to present me I wouldn't give you feedback and then try to discuss it with you..

we liked so much yamashita's design so we did these costumes.
making the jacket starting from raw fabric, was not a joke, so it's not a cosplay only for show somethign sexy. if this was our first idea, probably we could decide to make them in a bad way, without details, without spend so much money on them (as mostly of the other cosplayers that did the same version..)
