OMG IKR! I HATED Oshawott's design when I first saw it, but then I started watching the anime and GOOD GAWD IT SOUNDS SO CUTE. Those big puppy-dog eyes when he totally falls in love with Ash? PRICELESS. And his pudgy body grew on me, it seriously did. I still love to be really cruel to it whenever I draw it though because I love Snivy wayyyyyyyy more.

Omg omg Charmander episode was so tragic. No wonder he grows/evolves up to be such a rebel, haha, all that childhood angst. First gen starters are the hardest to pick a favorite, I think. So I kind of cheat and say for first evo it's Bulbasaur, then second evo is Wartortle (though I like Ivysaur a lot too... CORIANDRA I'M SORRY) and for third it's Charizard.
Hahaha, I slip up and call them Wotter and Smugleaf quite a bit from the rumor phase. "Pignition" was kind of true, though, so, eh.

Castle's really good! Definitely has episodes that aren't as good as others, but the jokes are a lot of fun and I adore Nathan Fillion. I even stalk him on Twitter.
Yeah, Bell is a lot more appropriate for her, but that's just what the dub does. I pronounce Cheren as cheh-renn with a rolled R. But I like the idea of saying Chelle N. 
"..." Did you know that the stadium changes every month with the seasons? They have American Football, Baseball, Tennis and I they should also have Soccer. The little Japanese boys would be like "WTF?!" if Soccer weren't involved. lol.

I do like the Japanese names! I only know a lot of this gen's Japanese names because it's the only pre-release hype I've ever been involved in, lol. I feel the same way. At first I really didn't like the looks of the new starters, and hated most of the new pokemon also, but then I warmed up when seeing just how many new ones really were good after all. People change indeed.
