Description A younger Alan Rickman - notice the longer hair I think he's nicer older though.

I've taken long enough to put this up, I started it aaages ago and only just finished it - many projects on at uni keeping me from doing it, grrr.

4B (I think!) on A4 crappy printer paper as usual, I really should get some better paper.

I actually quite like this, I paid more attenton to shading, and details than I have in my portrait drawings before.

Thats friggin awesome hehe excelletn stuff and i do agree...even though i'm male he is most definately better when vintage just like that johnny depp fella...he's way nicer now he's older...not in charlie and the choc factory but like secret window/blow/pirates of the carribbean (sp?)

Very nice.

My only real critique, though, is that the eye on the left (his right) looks too small compared to the one on the right. And his ear doesn't seem to fit the rest of the piece. It seems like an afterthought.

Very well done, though.

Awesome details. Rickman has this very particular look to his face, with a glance that is quite ponderous and imperious in a way. I think you've managed to capture that look extremely well. You have an amazing awareness for light source and depth/dimension, which really helps to come together and create an image of striking quality. He looks as if he lives and breathes, and I can only applaud your great talent.

Wow , I mean seriously wow! This is a masterpiece. He is a fine looking man isn't he. I like listening to his voice as well. I think the first time I saw him was in Robin Hood. What a wonderful drawing!

HEY, Now I know who this Bloke is !!! I just saw him in the NEW harry Potter movie..He was a warewolf ayy? I enjoyed his character...he pulled it off quite well...he is a bit older though, huh? Michelle, I wonder if Harry Potter is as HUGE in the UK as it is in the states?...Great drawing BTW

Umm, no this is the guy who plays Snape (the nasty potions teacher with the long black hair)! I have seen HP3 2 times now haha. The first time, we went to London to see it and we all dressed up as various characters, I was Snape. There are photos to prove it here !
