Description
Healthy skin is surprisingly reflective and Maria's skin is very healthy. That made this image pretty easy to compose.*yes those are her hands - her arms are crossed.
*If this is your first visit to this image then you didn't see the other version I had which had more texture to it. I asked the viewers to help me decide which one looked better and this smooth version was chosen.

It seems to seperate the mind (head) from the body. Her gaze is detached from her self and the hands seem to reach up to her as if to call her back, searching for their lost leader as she is drawn into some other plane of existence.......Fantastic!!! I love how the gold 'paint' creates an extra plane, the blending of dimensional perspectives is extreamly eye-catching. I really love it, which is my first such comment on DA. I would love to discuss art sometime and hear your perspective if you are interested.

it's a lot like airbrushing. just stencil out the area you want and paint it. color balance and gaussian blur help.

Again perfect excecution! I do love the contrast between the golden part and her real skin which is more textured. They way the golden face melts into the background is just PERFECT!
