My style is very exploratory/organic, I often don't know when a piece will "work out" or not.Β I've been timid about showing the process but one day I will cave and share a video or maybe even stream.Β If you're on Twitter, maybe follow me there (Β twitter.com/michaelfirman ) since I'd be more likely to post a process share there than on DA.
My colours often start out pretty neutral and I use layers and blending modes to shift the palette around until I find something inspiring.Β I also like to paint over mistakes instead of always undo them... sometimes that leaves interesting traces of the colours underneath.
