I have a thing for drummers, btw. <~< I play guitar and piano, but idk, nothing to me is sexier than a man beating on a metal drum. XD Probably because I'm a RockBand fanatic too - Hard Mode on Drums ftw!!

Crappy image quality, so I took the liberty of changing up some things in the drawing ~~
I had to use a bit of the Burn Tool in CS5 because the graphite reflected light. >-> Bad graphite.
Sooooo, I just bought new Faber-Castell graphite pencils. I know, I'm probably about to become the poster child for their material since I also just bought the 120 set of colored pencils, but really, this is artist grade stuff we're talking about here. They're really great, I highly recommend to all.
Mine are the 20 set of the 9000 series. ; )

Digital art is really useful though. You'd get in with a gaming company no problem.

Honestly, I used to hate pencils. I sucked at it.
But my drawing class only let us use achromatic media (lacking color). So I had to keep using them, and that's when I decided to go with Derwent. Well, I really liked them afterwards. And now that I've got Faber-Castell, I freakin love it. Black and white is my favorite thing to do now. >~> Go figure, right?
Used to hate markers too, because they're permanent and hard to work with if you don't know what to do. But I just gave it a shot and went for it, and found that I have a natural affinity with them. So yeah! Moral of the story is to keep trying out different things, cause you never know until you test it!

I'm excited to try FC's colored pencils... but I want to use up my Prismas before I go buying some beast pack of FCs.
I think in the future (when I has monies), I'll hook myself up with some copics, but for now, I'll stick with pens, paints, and pencils.
