Here's what's going on in the picture :
Twilight, in an attempt to break the ice with the Princess, picked up some books to read. Some of them being Astronomy books.
Luna browsed through those, saying something like "AH, I know this place! This is so much better when you experience it with your own eyes, compared to what's drawn on this paper…"
And she unconsciously used her Alicorn powers to make Twilight and her books levitate.
Prepare your horn Twilight, you're going to SPACE.

I love the colors here, im always impressed when an artist puts colors where they dont really belong and make it beautiful (the pink on luna or the blue on twilight) And i LOVE LOVE LOVE twi's expression :3

I really love Luna, one of my favorite characters.
This is really nicely done! It's almost as if the cool colors like the blue and purple have transformed warm. The halo is done really well, not to mention the ponies themselves. Their anatomy (relative to My Little Pony) is amazing and if anything improved.
