To me the rainbow looks like it's being corrupted by all the negativity but it refuses to go away because as long as people have hope in their lives it will always remain there.

I see hope (the rainbow) being pulled down from the sky by despair. Despair is also reaching to pull down the all man from his quest for the stars and the moon
