The glasses are a bit un-trekky, but every illustration that features the Gorn is a perfect illustration

Kirk wore glasses as an Admiral, couldn't read up close otherwise since he was allergic to Retnax-5, the drug they use in Trek to correct eye issues.

I considered drawing Hector (the actor who plays the character) without glasses but he was unrecognizable otherwise.

No, but I'm writing a Trek tale (The Lost Stars) with the help of Jetfreak, and Jonbromle1 has created phitoshop images of my ships crew using actors and actresses.  Since then I've been wondering what they would look like comic book style.

Jack Bau--, I mean Kiefer Sutherland in Star Trek, that would be awesome! Ha. But that's an interestingly diverse and large crew (Cardassian Ensign too) you got there. At the moment I have a few commissions keeping me busy but perhaps in the future I can take a crack at a sketch or two.

Thanks.  The ship was launched in 2410, so I decided make the crew as diverse as posible.  Before the The Lost Stars storyline Munro was a Captain, and Riana wasn't aboard (holo Riana was an AI created in the Andromeda Galaxy).  Things have now got interesting, as the USS Kahlan has now turned up from the future, captained by one Helen Munro, Admiral Munro's future daughter.

 I look forwards to seeing what you come up with, when you have the time of course (I never put pressure on anyone to get things done).
