I congratulate you on your artwork and have cited you as the ORIGINAL ARTIST in my DESCRIPTION, but I must ask why you say it is "not very original". The rest of your statement implies that the Pikachu you have drawn is an accurate sketch of how Pikachu WAS portrayed in the movie?

Since Fan Art copyrights are a touchy subject, I have to ask for your testimony on if this drawing of Pikachu is exactly like how he was portrayed in the movie in a specific scene. But if this IS YOUR ORIGINAL WORK, then I must politely ask for your permission to use MY VECTOR in a larger art project (which I think you might enjoy to see the end results of).

Hmm. Im not entirely sure what you are asking but I think what you made is fine. I did take the pose from the movie, which is why i said it wasn't very original. Although the idea wasn't mine, the work is.
Its fine if you use it and i will make a mention of it on my own artwork to try and get people to not harass you for it. Your vector is clearly your own. I don't think it too closely resembles mine.
I hope i addresses everything you brought up.

Reading through the comments and on a different page, you said

In my opinion, because there exists an original art work produced by Pokemon/Nintendo in the Movie, any/all renditions of this particular Pikachu sleeping as he is may be considered open source/free/and susceptible to renditions being made both intentionally and unintentionally.
Thus, my poor logic concludes that I may or may not need your permission as long as I do in fact provide the source from where the original artwork comes from. This may or may not be the same for anyone else who has "stolen" your "original art".
To wrap this matter up, you may be able to report me and or anyone who has used your art without permissions, but I assume that the consequences would not be as intense if your art work was indeed "a one of a kind original masterpiece"

I know, and I did notice she is slightly young. Young or not stealing is wrong, and she should not be pitied because of her age. I also noticed where she is from, she might not even understand english, or understand what we are telling her, unfortunately.

You know whats so scary? Lately, ive had both Pokemon and Transformers Generation 1 on the brain, and I think that a playful little Pikachu would be perfect for a strict autobot like Prowl. I mean, its like the perfect match!
