some random Starlyfe/life lore: Though most Starlife characters are from the Starlife universe, some are immigrants of one sort or another from other universes. Many of which are refugees of one kind or another.

For Higgs, his world was taken over by a group of demons who found ways to enslave the fleshorns (Higgs' species) and other inhabitants. After his world was visited by Warper, he managed to convince her to allow him to escape to the Starlife universe. He still visits his home on occasion to assist his friends, though he's been unable to help any of them escape.

For Lambert, he's been the victim of multiple reality-damaging anomalies that have basically erased his physical form from existence. Warper and Higgs helped create a new form for him, though it's still rather unstable.
He doesn't remember that much about his origins, but he believes that he may be a survivor of a universe that was destroyed. Warper seems to agree with this hypothesis.

As for others:

Entropy's been all over, he was kidnapped from the universe he was born in as a puppy, and accidentally destroyed most of the universe he grew up in. He's managed to be more careful, but he still feels bad about it.

Feather is a rescue from a universe that suffered a kairologic breakdown (basically a usually-permanent time freeze). His mother had found a way into the Starlife world and given the egg to Zule to take care of, before fleeing back into her world. She wasn't seen again.
