Ah! Sorry this took longer in the day than it should, but I waited a while before I decided to color this since I had my laptop on for too long. But this didn't turn out too bad, and at the same time, what a surprise~! It seems that Rosalina managed to get a place as her own character in Smash 4, and with her own unique style of play as well!
Of course, I was shocked at the news, but as always I opened up to her greatly and welcome her to the group!
I do gotta say that her bangs-placement will be a problem for her in the future, since that side has always been difficult for me to draw correctly. But, oh well, challenge accepted~ She wasn't too tricky since her dress is much simpler than Peach's.
Now then, here be another lil'pic for that Challenge Series I'm trying to do (with my choice of limitations) for them Smash 4 Newcomers. With that, I mean I may choose to not draw certain newcomers should they be too tricky-tough for my style, or if I don't like 'em that much-- that I can say will hardly happen since I'm pretty open to a lot there. ( ' v');

Hopefully, if other Newcomers were to be revealed (or when it's released, I see more of them) I will make more of these little lovelies~! Otherwise, school's telling me to work hard thus restraining my drawing time-- even though I'm on Winter Break now. *phew*

I kinda like drawing the Luma's with dot-eye's, mostly because I tend to mess-up on the sort of eye-style they normally have.
Plus, the simpler, the cuter sometimes~ He looks even more like a plushy!

I am surprised at how good she seems as a fighter. Playing Mario Kart, Super Mario Galaxy, or even Super Mario 3D World, one would not likely get a fighter vibe from her, yet somehow, they not only made her work for Smash Bros., but also effectively turned her into a badass.

Oh yes, I was very shocked to see her, but of course I open up to new fighters quite easily. And I'm very impressed with how Sakurai and the other developers managed to make her style different from Peach so others won't point the clone-label at Rosalina.

Her fight style just from looking at the trailers looks like Ice Climbers tbh, it seems you can control the Luma and her almost seperately but near range- well ofc Ice Climbers weren't so- separate- unless you could pull it off (which is so fun repeatedly chain grabbing people).
I need a Wii U though. The terror of spending more money ;A;

My brother tried Rosalina out in the demo once. As tough as she was to use, according to him, you are right on the almost-separate part. The Luma can be much further from Rosie compared to the Ice Climbers and still fight. Which apparently helps for combos!

It looks insane, I still need a wii U to try this all out one day- (I'm still sad at SSBB's, or well the wii and DS' lack of wi-fi now)
At least my assumption was right, when you play the game too long you recognise most little things.
I think when I get it I may stick with veterans for then to get used to them if they've changed- Zelda got buffed, why
On another note: THOSE LUMA'S EYES. THEY SO DERPY IT MAKES IT CUTE *^* But I love the style of Rosalina's hair here, shows your flexibility around.

It's an funny thing, I can't draw Luma's normal eyes right without making 'em look wonky. So I just resorted to dot-eyes, which I prefer anyway~ It does seem to make him look cuter. ( ^ ,^);

Mhm. The truth is, my reaction to that video and that hype was really all for Chrom-- it's kinda hard to go back to it and see how silly it was for me to get excited over the wrong thing. ( . _.);

Yup, the sadness is overwhelming... I actually expected him to join- but we got Lucina and Robin, not a bad thing and I guess Lucina made it to add more female chars. But still... CHROM
I actually felt like Micaiah would have made it maybe, but I guess I'm wrong too haha. Still waiting on if Lloyd Irving makes it being a fan of the Tales Of. Series. (And I want Amaterasu :T)
I still believe Pittoo and Claus are just gonna be skins in SSB4 >.< (And I don't recall hearing any StarFox chars in yet...)

While I'm still quite downed by the fact that this apparently means I have to bury any pipe dreams on seeing Toad as a fighter, Rosie has never looked so good before (and even then, the Lumas have become more than badass in my eyes now).
