Somehow I feel like I have a thing for green-eyed, blonde elves and tears. Maybe they just seem so vulnerable to me that I can't resist drawing them like that ..... Well, that sounds very much possible, in fact.

It has been AGES since I last used watercolors, but after watching the Beatrix Potter film, I think I kinda got inspired and felt like using watercolors. and I think I finally realized how they're actually used to the full advantage.
In the past, I used to just use the colors as they were //except for the skin color//, without realizing that there's a geewd reason they're called watercolors. xD..

The scanner kinda killed some parts, since there are some huge shadows here and there.
Oh, right! I bought myself a white marker, and I'm putting it to a really great use!! I'm so glad I bought it!! <3

I also decided to practice as usual as possible. There's a reason to this. I want to get into a local art high school in a while, and I heard from my friend - whose sister is in there - that the pieces are really incredible. So I must put in my best too! My technical side is far from great or beautiful, so I must practice, practice, practice. I want to create beautiful things, and I'm more than glad that I have these hands to do so.
