Age: 17
Gender: Female
Race: Rito
Height: 5'5"
Allegiance: Good
Residence: Kargaroc Valley
Occupation: Postwoman
Goal: To do her job and help the aerie's postal system as best she can.
Personality: Daydreamer, Hopeless Romantic, Excitable, Impatient, Energetic, Low Self-Confidence, Flustered Easily
Other: Loves anything that has to do with romance and loves seeing it. Somewhat insecure about her own love life (which has been empty). Has an affinity for golden feathers. Loves to travel. Tends to be a bit ignorant and naive, but not too much so that it hinders her. Araceli is fairly observant and has a mind for problem solving. Though she has low confidence in herself, Araceli is actually a fairly decent mediator and can usually talk people down from hostility.

Abilities:
- Skilled at Flight
- Gusts of wind (via her wings)
- Able to Fly
- Knowledge of the Land
- Can use her talons offensively

Weaknesses:
- Arrows
- Electricity
- Ice
- Weapon Based Combat (Untrained)

History:
Araceli is an only child that was often too eager for her own good. She was young when Kargaroc Valley was attacked by the population of birds that gave the valley its name. For that reason she doesn't really remember much of it as she was kept out of it and not allowed to see any of the aftermath. As she was flightless at the time, doing so had been easy. Araceli has always understood it was a bad occurrence due to the way everyone reacted. She was fairly fortunate but other kids weren't. She learned this when she befriended Platt who had lost his parents to the kargaroc attack. Araceli never really got to know Platt's sister, Plume, very well but she did know of her and have small interaction when required.

As she grew up Araceli never made many friends. She was often considered an annoyance or someone to avoid due to her high energy. No one really could handle her (much less having her slap them in the face with her wings so often). The fact she was ignored or avoided only led her to become more and more insecure over time, not understanding that it was simply her high energy that made her difficult to interact with. While Platt remained a loyal friend and put up with her, others didn't show the same loyalty and made her devalue herself. When her wings finally grew in, Araceli learned to fly and decided to follow postmen along their routes given her lust for adventure and plans of joining the postal service when old enough.

It wasn't until her mid teenage years that adventure was backseated to romance. Araceli had finally reached that age where she was physically maturing, thus her interest. She loves delivering love letters to people around Hyrule, but every time she sees the reactions she feels a bit of envy towards people despite the fact she's glad they're happy. Being too afraid to take a chance and being convinced she's undesirable has left Araceli in the curiosity stage. She'd love to bring the topic up with someone but she fears that her questions might drive them away from her at the same time. So for now she's just reading romance novels and observing other relationships from afar even if it hurts her a bit. She's often called upon for mail duty though which occupies most of her time, especially when she's had to go find Link and get his mail to him. Surprisingly she gets along well with Link which made her his personal mail deliverer.

Plot History:
Araceli continued to perform her duties as a postwoman even though Hyrule had officially been cast under darkness. Platt had once returned to Kargaroc Valley and asked her to help find Link since she knew him best. Though she hadn't seen him in a while, Araceli agreed and left to join the search efforts. She and her assigned group came up empty-handed but she was happy to see Link had been found by Platt and Plume's group. She stayed around when plans for a siege on Hyrule Castle were made. Though Araceli had no fighting experience, she was skilled at flying and opted to help out with supply runs when the time came. Before that, however, Araceli delivered letters to other allies to get them in on the plan.

When the siege came around, Araceli helped by being an aerial distraction while flying supplies to those who were supporting via distractions on the ground. Supplies like arrows, bombs and fairies were given. She received injuries but kept going to finish her job. She pulled back only until Impa signaled otherwise when she left the castle later. With the group all together and Link having obtained the Master Sword, Araceli was set on leaving with the others. This was stopped when Impa suggested the group needed to split off to avoid pursuing enemies. Araceli understood and took off for Kargaroc Valley after quickly helping people stabilize minor injuries.

Araceli went home to Kargaroc Valley and visited the Great Fairy fountain to have her wounds healed. From there she resumed postal duty. A little over a month since the siege she found the valley visited by Link and Zelda among others. The two groups collided and joined up and Araceli had to direct the group out of the working area for Velari. Araceli didn't have much to contribute to the following conversation, but was more than surprised to see a Skyloftian woman was really the Goddess Hylia. Seeing their company of spirits was also a bit confusing, but from what she gathered it sounded as though people were finally taking action to restore Hyrule to normal. Araceli was more than happy to later fly out to the Temple of the Sages to relay a message to Emmeri from Link. She's since given this message and is back doing postal work.

xD Ritos are among my favorite Zelda races of all time. <3 Might be because I adore birds, but they're so cool too. ;w;
Yep! c: They're in northern Hyrule in Kargaroc Valley. The species immigrated into Hyrule and took residence there. c:
