Bandit was lying on the ground, her back against a tree. Her mind was whirling faster than the wind that warned of the approaching storm. A child? Rain started to spatter down from the clouds, quickly drenching her fur, but she didn't care. What will I do? I can't get rid of it, that would be cruel... I'll have to take care of it. That's what I'll do. I'll love it and protect it from this, from the truth, for as long as I can.

Also, WHAT'S THIS? YES, I HAVE DONE DETAIL AND ACTUALLY PUT EFFORT INTO A DRAWING!! I'm actually so proud of this
