Description
I placed the leaves so that they kind of covered up the candle holders which I think turned out well.Β I used just about every metal working technique I know to make this sculpture.Β What a difference 10 years made from the first version to this one.Related content

I need more like 3-6 thousand but this was a gift so I'm not getting anything.

how much did it cost to make? (best guess if you aren't sure)

I'm not sure what the material costs were it's just steel and copper. Β But is 35" wide by 46" high and has 97 hand hammered copper leaves and 18 forged acorns. Β It was very time consuming to make.

I didn't invent any of the techniques I used to make this piece. Β If you want to make a metal tree go right ahead. Β I would prefer it if you didn't copy the shape though. Β There is a difference between being inspired by something and copying it. Β Make your own version and if you want to mention me in the description if you post pics on here I would appreciate it.

it won't be a straight-up copy, but in the end, it will probably look very similar, seeing as how it is essentially a glowing mass of leaves with branches behind it
