Description
has told me that he plans to write a second squeal to his story "Always Somewhere" and he mentioned that it includes Dil's daughter, Blaer, as a teenager. He also said that she would be into music different from Dil's, which is Power Metal. Options included Punk, Pop, or Nu Metal.
I suggested that she could still be a metalhead, but she could lean more towards the Death Metal style and she'd be a fan of the following bands (by location):
Florida (Tampa, Orlando and Miami)
Death
Morbid Angel
Obituary
Decide
Iced Earth (early)
Cynic
Atheist
Nocturnus
Hate Eternal
Savatage (While Progressive Metal, they're considered the "Godfathers of Florida Metal")
Six Feet Under
Sweden (Mostly around Gothenberg)
Entombed
At The Gates
Dark Tranquility
Amon Amarth
In Flames
Arch Enemy
Buffalo, New York
Cannibal Corpse
Malevolent Creation
United Kingdom
Carcass (Post-Heartwork)
Other Bands (Thrash, Black, Grindcore, NWOBHM, etc)
Slayer (Los Angeles)
Kreator (Germany)
Dark Angel (Los Angeles)
Testament (San Francisco)
Venom (United Kingdom)
Celtic Frost (Switzerland)
Mercyful Fate/King Diamond (Denmark)
Possessed (San Francisco)
Napalm Death (United Kingdom)
Dimmu Borgir (Norway)
Lamb of God (Richmond)
Judas Priest (United Kingdom)
Motorhead (United Kingdom)
Dethklok (Animated, but set in these story frames, Metalocalypse is a "reality show".)
Cradle of Filth (United Kingdom)
Skeletonwitch (Columbus)
Enslaved (Norway)
Nevermore (Seattle)
And one idea that I haven't brought up was that, much how in his stories, Dil idolizes Ronnie James Dio. Blaer could do the same with Arch Enemy vocalist Angela Gossow for being one of the few female vocalists to sing with the growling technique.

Neat work here, and kudos for making Blaer a fan of Nocturnus. However, I must point out that Celtic Frost is from Switzerland, not Norway.

Call me an out-of-touch buffoon, but I didn't even know what you were talking about until you brought it up. I may check it out down the road.

It was supposed to be released this month, but for some unknown reason the website changed to "Winter 2014".
Maybe they had a slight setback or something.

Thank you for the correction. Shows you how much I know about that band. -_-
Now Tom G. Warrior's gonna come after me for making that massive fail.

Didi: Blaer, you are a little different from that girl that used to run around our house, and "go after" some of your little cousins.

Dil: Yes, Dio tried once to write music that was away from the 'sword and sorcery' theme. Didn't work out too well for him.
