I might do more DinoTurtles, I already sketched all four of them as dinosaurs on paper, here's what I made them and why:
Leo - iguanodon; I simply wanted Leo to be a simple and rather well known dinosaur, my first thought had been a diplodocus or another long-necked dinosaur but I wanted something more agile that can also use its hands, also I wanted to make him a herbivore to equal things out
Raph - allosaurus; first I'd thought of a tyrannosaurus rex, but I think an allosaurus fits better since it doesn't have as much of a 'leader'-feel as the t-rex and also in most images I found its arms seem to be a bit more useful than the ones of the t-rex
Donnie - deinonychus; Donnie being a raptor is pretty obvious with the common reputation of raptors having been the most intelligent dinosaurs, so it was only the decision between deinonychus and veloceraptor, which are the two best known kinds of raptors soI went with the bigger one of the two XD
Mikey - triceratops; I'm not even sure why, but this one just seemed most fitting for Mikey in my eyes, maybe it's because I can picture him so well as a playful triceratops just running around and eating all day XD
(for all of these decisions I also considered the time period these dinosaurs lived in, they're all around the cretaceous period)
