I don't know, Eggman's plan in Sonic Colors is pretty menacing when you think about it. Enslaving seven planets, draining the inhabitants of those worlds to power a device that enslave the minds of everyone on Earth. That's pretty evil from a guy who once got kidnapped by his own creation.

He was hoping for Iblis to finish Shadow off in the future, but it failed. At the same time, he was using Silver to kill Sonic and release Iblis in the present, which would mean Shadow would never meet Iblis in the future, so the events in the future timeline would have never existed, therefore, no one would know who Silver and Blaze are. The Doctor is right, time travel is confusing. lol

You could say that Shadow's a bad copy of Super Sonic with fancy shoes.
He looks like Shadow because he is made from Faker No.4's (After Metal, STC SuperSonic, and Evil Sonic before he sucked) shadow. His crystal form looks less like Shadow, and he's not as cool as a blob.
