Description
CW samus was always fascinated by the metroids at the skytown xenoresearch facility. she wanted some of these creatures for her army, so she developed clockwork metroids. like most clockwork creatures, they behave similarly to their organic counterparts. unfortunately, CW samus couldn't figure out how to apply a device that could mimic the metroid's "energy sucking" ability. so instead, she improvised. CW metroids have a small, retractable saw under their body. the CW metroid latches onto their target's face, and, powered by a gear system, the saw juts out into the victim's face, brutally and painfully cutting through the victim's skin, bone, and eventually into the insides of the victim's head. CW metroids fly by 4 mini propulsion "rockets" located on the outside of their body. these "rockets" can fire out both ends; downwards to keep the CW metroid floating, and upwards to launch the CW metroid towards their target like a normal metroid does. like all other clockwork creatures, they have a weakness to extreme heat. another strategy would be to try to freeze them which would cause the propulsion system to stop working, causing them to just crash into the ground for easy killing.
