It's adorable, I need to rework the patter for the bottom tail/belly area since it is a bit short. I love the gray fleece.

I shorten the back a bit and all was fine. I think in your pattern it has to be 1 cm shorter. (sides and Top part)
Next time I will try a pink one. Maybe in the original size.

Me too.Β I was hoping to put together a tutorial for it since it isn't perfect.Β But the belly is the last part to go on.Β If you look at some of the pictures of finished versions, it's a little easer to see how it comes together.

I'm sorry - but the base does not fit onto the top three panels. I've tried and tried. I'm using nice fabric and it just ISN'T working. I've spent quite a bit of time trying to make this little thing.

I had a little issue with a perfect fit.Β There was a bit of overlap all the way around when I pinned it on.Β It was the last piece I sewed on after assembling all the other pieces together.Β If I ever get time, I'll have to tweak it.Β At the moment literally all I do is sleep and work, but once I get some time, I'll be starting costumes first since Halloween is not too far away and that is an incredibly important holiday which always includes homemade costumes.

Yeah, totally. It's really simple and one of the first I did as well. It took me about two hours total, but it was a fun project. My friend's baby loves it. I wished I had done it with a non stretch fabric, but it was just too cool not to.

I have been so busy that I haven't had time to make one yet. Hopefully I can get to it soon. Tax season is kicking my butt! I have never been this busy. I usually get booked for tattoo appointments about 3-4 weeks out, but I have almost completely booked March. I can barely keep up with that, plus helping my friend with her wedding. Luckily that is almost over and I'll have a little spare time.
