I like the layout but you have to work on your blind contents, looks like done in 5 min (contents), just work on the content and the presentation will be 10 times better
But nice work on the graphics

Yepp, just use some more images and use different blind texts. I brings mre excitement for viewers
I mostly use teaser areas with images and links to make a presentation more excited

Ohhhhhh. I had some tank bullets there, but scrapped it and thought i could put the menu there. I ended up realizing I shouldn't have gotten rid of them, but I might redo them sometime

Doesn't bother me though, the empty space. Just the logo makes it look a bit empty, but I guess that's not much of a problem.

Btw, I don't think the menu is plain at all, I just don't see where you're gonna put the links, lol. Maybe some mechanic 'arms' that hold some sort of plate where the menu will be? Those arms could come out of the dark place in the header in the middle. Just an idea though.

You can try to use a color for a little bit contrast in the header. A color with a light or orbs.
