‘Whaaaaat!?’Sakura nodded, a slightly smug look plastered across her face. Ino gaped at her, shaking her head in disbelief.
‘You saw him with WHOM!?’
‘Sabaku no Temari.’
Ino managed to close her gaping mouth. Mentally, she made a note to interrogate Shikamaru during their next training session.
Sakura let a moment pass, but changed the topic when Ino began to grind her teeth.
‘Did you hear Naruto is back’ she said.
‘Yeah, I heard it from Tenten today’ Ino snorted ‘the only time I see her anymore is when she and Neji come up for air, I swear.
‘Yeah' she paused 'he’s changed alot, Naruto, I mean.’
A small smile that Sakura couldn’t hide pulled at the sides of her mouth. Ino raised an eyebrow and eyed her friend suspiciously.
Decidedly, Ino placed the seemingly love struck Sakura on her list of interrogation, and steered the conversation onto other non-Naruto related topics.
