Thank you . Yeah, the D300 is treating me very nicely thanks. Its amazing how toylike the D40X feels now. Its great having so many manual controls on the body, meaning I don't have to go into the menu to change settings. The dynamic autofocus really is something else as well.

Cheers. This is at 10mm on a 1.5X crop body. Sometimes this is still not wide enough. I could do with a 5mm rectilinear lens. Not that thats physically possibly, but I still want one.

I do indeed. A Nikon D300 is my weapon of choice now. Still got the D40X as a backup body though.
