random Sync fanart speedpainting thing :V you know, one of those kinds where you skip the sketch/line phase and just go right into painting random blobs of color and see what happens. imperfect paintings. as imperfect as tossed away little green haired replicas :Voriginally i wanted to something based off the manga version of Sync being de-masked. i think it was kind of the most epic way <_> Luke throwing his sword from far away at him... trying to deter him from attacking Ion. the sword smashes through his mask and theres blood 8V YAY. it was one of my fave moments of the Abyss manga for realz. but yeah. this picture... too hard to tell whats going on so idk what it even represents now >_>
1 layer because im too lazy for more layers. all default chalk brush because im too lazy to change my damned brush. 2 hours cause im too lazy to put time into stuff.

I barely ever sketch my drawings lol xD; actually most of my drawings are created by going in rage-quit mode and scribbling with the brush set on 4px and then I'll stare at the mess and go O: omfg i see a picture! and create something from it so if this is crap and such it's very effective crap its a useful way of drawing plus it's fun! |D I like to draw really fast and see what I can make outta a certain time xD;
dsjdhsdh the game lacked blood ;___; i -i want blood! replicas exploding and making a bloody mess instead of sparkley deaths lol and that bit in the manga ...I don't think I've seen that (still needs to buy most of the mangas but is unsure where to get them ) D8 but I somehow remember it being ... at the tartarus?(lolspelling) i'm probably wrong otl but it'd make sense since that mask ain't gonna be used lol but anyway~ the drawing is awesome and I like the amount of red as red is always associated with warning and danger and I like how sync isn't centered and has movement by adding longer strokes so it actually looks like he's falling back by the force of being hit . He just has to one up me xD hahah I know what it's like to have something stabbed into your eye but he totally beats my pathetic little glass shard ffff but I can feel the pain by just looking at this image ow D:
and woah you drew this really fast O: and lol hey I never put time into my stuff so i must be realllllllly lazy xD (or easily bored )

lol yeah, this was on the Tartarus xD thank you! yeah, its what i liked about the color in this one :V though i blame tegaki for making me a color freak regarding the pinks and red type shades ;;>_> *totally abuses them in tegaki* dsfjhdgkjshg yeah, the games arent bloody at all xD the bloodiest thing will be Asch's death and it really wasnt that bloody huh. it was my hope the anime would do more blood :V and it failed me xD the mangas are expensive online -_____- but in a city about 2 hours from here we have a Japanese book store that actually carries Japanese manga, including Tales manga :V for the same price you find English manga at any bookstore. maybe the UK has them? o:

lol Tegaki is a fun website xD you are like a god at it though , I can't even draw anything on it , I think it's the zoom function doesn't enlarge to the whole area so it makes it awkward somehow for me , such a small space D8 .The lack of blood was disappointing D: but I guess a lot of games are non-bloody and it must be quite difficult to render I'm too used to the blood in Drakengard where it's not realistic at all how the blood pours out it's like extreme BLOOD BATHS EVERYWHERE YAY sdhsjdhsdj plus I think Tales Of is suited for 12+ ? ouo they'd have to change it 16+ if they wanted blood and stuff xD;
and we only have one store that sells stuff like that called "Forbidden planet > [link] " and It has no Talsey stuff from what I seen but that shop is so epic xD; I could look around it for hours but we where at the theater at the time so I couldn't look around for long D8

I disagree - while its not as refined as the paintings you put more effort into - the roughness gives it a neat look ~ you've still captures the motion and the atmosphere wonderfully. I really like it!

I actually really like Sync, he was always my second favourite God-General and overall he'd be about 5th (behind Asch and the party males) ~ I just love his design, especially his second one. I really want that coat! oooooooooo *lightbulb* I think thats what I'll make if I have enough leftover white fabric from my cosplay this year

i dont remember who my fave God General was the first playthrough xD i was so LUKE LUKE LUKE the first time around lolz, then didnt appreciate anyone until later playthroughs lawl *shot* it seems like each playthrough, i find i like someone different :V like this recent one ive found myself liking Legretta more. idk why. haha you totally should make that coat! xD its a slick one.

My first playthrough it was definitely Asch. Admittedly I had kind of selected him as my probable favourite before playing (I tend to do this with games and opening sequences), but the more I learned about his character the more I really found out I actually loved his character. Luke really grew on me a lot, I found his bratty self amusing and his SH self I really empathized with and he took a very close second (closer than I thought he would XD) I found a lot of characters grew on me a lot more when I had to write them, especially Natalia and Anise who I used to shun a lot. Natalia turned me off earlier on in the game and so I never really empathized with her or any of her character growth/plot development, and subsequently never appreciated Largo much either. I've definitely developed a fondness of Arietta, and Legretta I wish had been executed better (as a character not her death XD) - I think with her they tried too hard to keep the fact that she loved Van a secret until the end, when they really could have used that to develop her better. I find most of her character development occurs in side-quests as opposed to many of the others.
I should - it would be totally fun to wear around town! Sync would be fun to cosplay but I'm too tall to pull off young characters successfully.

i think Abyss may be the game where the characters grew on me from beginning to end the most of all the Tales games ive played :V theres a lot of great development in Abyss comparatively o: yeah... Legretta could have had waaaaay more in-game development than she did >.< my recent playthrough i did try to get to ALL the sidequests and she did have way more info on her than in the main game xD
i was actually sorta surprised to find out Sync and Ion's height stat was 5'5" :V they seem like they would be shorter than that xD *is the same height*

Seriously? that's hilarious - that makes them taller than Luke and Asch, doesn't it? *thinks the redheads are only 5'4 or something* I was a bit amused when Guy took a shot at Luke's height in the anime. I'm surprised they got through the whole game without making at least one joke about Luke being short (cause he is kind of short for a guy)
