The eyes look funny..but heeey! lookie at the hair..isn't it swishy?! the scanner killed the lovely wishy washy colors and transparency(yeah blame the scanner)
but I really liked this one..because of the wishy washy-ness...*Wheee*

I can't believe I never saw this before (I'm blind! Truly!). This is so very, incredibly beautiful! It's the wooshy wispiness about it actually - it almost makes it seem like (okie, this is going to be an incredibly bad description of what I'm thinking of? XD) a drawing made on a frosty glass or something?
Though... kweh... Morpheus doesn't look like anything at all like what those people looked like in that weird comic I saw?

You're right, those comics have nothing to do with this Sandman 
Neil Gaiman's Sandman is basically about the personification of dreams (*points at piccie* that's his general appearance, otherwise he's sort of anthromorphic).
Surreal/weird, imaginative and fantastic(in the supernatural/fantasy sense) are the best words to describe the series. It has it's share of disturbing and scary stuff (since Nightmares are dreams too) but all in good taste. The art/artists fluctuate quite a bit too, which might be unsettling but it fits. *must stop self from writing an essay*
The actual series is 75 issues, I have the scans of them all. I can mail a cd to you? :3

I was just randomly browsing dA and thought,"Hey, I never tried to look for Sandman fanart." And after stumbling through pictures of the guy from the Matrix (>< lol) I came across this. This is just...fantastic. I never expected to find Sandman stuff on here, but I guess I never thought to look up until now. You did a wonderful job. Just...wow! Awesome!
