Hey guys! Here's the colored version of the lineart I posted a few days ago. Also, I'll be copy/pasting some parts of the description from the lineart post.

Honestly, I never thought I'd be drawing anything related to Vocaloid. It all started when I saw the VN02 Miku figure by Max Factory. More info on the figure here: [link]
How could I not like this figure...I'm not really a huge Miku fan but everything about it is simply amazing.
I decided to have some fun with the design and add a little Evangelion in the mix. Hope my attempts at retaining the aesthetics for both Eva and VN02 Miku were successful

I really surprised myself with this. Normally it would take me about ten million years to finish a digital piece. This one took less than a day.
I used a different coloring style this time, which I believe is a little closer to the anime aesthetic. Did my best to not get caught up in detailing. Kept things as simple as I could. I'm quite pleased with the results
The VN02 version had totally different colors from Miku's original design. I thought it'd be nice to incorporate her original colors into the plugsuit.

Oh yeah, what kinda brush did you use on her stockings/boots? Wet edged hard brush or something? I like how it looks and I want to use that tech.

I only used two brushes for this piece, namely the Hard round brush and the Airbrush pen opacity flow. I use the former for small and sharp detailing and the latter for general shading. That applies to all areas in the artwork

Everytime I go to my local figure store I take a moment to stare at the VN02...and then silently weep at the price tag ;w; I think it'd be awesome if there was a variant with her original colors like you did here~
