i found a video of the Gurkhas on youtube cutting off the heads of cows in some ritual, couldnt believe how clean and fast it was done, people really underestimate the curve of this weapon, it cuts deeper then people realize

That must be a good weapon. Forged in Nepal. So it is a real khukri. That must be nice. I realy like this weapon. Even I can only guess how to use it. I often train with it, but I have to figure out myself how is it better to use. I don't know if I'm doing it correctly or not.
Are you from Nepal?

If u got your khukuri from nepal it makes no difference between yours and mine, Because it is always made by a master blacksmith. The only thing is that people say and its true that the khukuri made in Bhojpur is of good quality. There is one thing that makes your one better than the one I hab is the "Chode" its the cut section between the handle and the blade. mine is a bit different in the chode. Its main purpose it to stop ur apponents blood flowing to the handle and not make it sliparry, for better grip while the blade is full of blood.
We nepalese people are said to be the best users of khukuri, because we us it for every purpose of our daily life, from cooking to killing, from worshipping to fashion. it is the symbol of our courage, hardship, fellowship, brotherwood and our nation.
In nepal most male children are given their own khukuri once they get a grip to their hand, but only in some cultures
and the khukuri for us is not a weapon and we must not take it that way, for us it is like a extention to our arms so we dont train to use it, we simply use it and learn to use it like our hand.
it is also said once it is drawn out of its seath during dispute, you must not put it back with out it tasting blood....

By the way if u ever want to be better in using a khukuri just get a SIRUPATE khukuri and a BUDHUNI khukuri train on both. you will kno the difference and ya they re not so epensive tooo....

I might post the picture of my khukuri someday

Thank you for the answer .
My khukri is not from Nepal. It was made in an Arabic country and I got it as a gift.
Otherwise I know what you're speaking about. A weapon is not only good for killing and these. You can get in full harmony with it. It becames your third hand, and you can learn, get shelter form it. Also you can help others with that. I know it because I also have a weapon what is close to my heart. This is my sword. That weapon is a shard from me.
But yes I want to use my khukri better because, this was my first real weapon, and I'm realy attached to it. Important to me. But unfortunately here noone does these trainings you advised. People here even don't know what is a khukri. Otherwise thanks for the help.
