well I'll have you know I meant to introduce the featherweight gang as a rogues team, a second team to take over once I was done the the 'Gents arc, and then I was gonna introduce the Grenadiers after them, I had it aaalll planned out but boy PMD closed and it didn't work so I'm jumping straight to grenadiers in PMDu
and the problem with this, of course, is this I have to rush the whole explanation of Pijum's involvement with the featherweight gang and I have very little time to introduce the gang v_v

I'd repurpose it for flora instead, more or less all the PMDU cast are starting to show up in flora, and then you would never have licencing issues with nintendo if you want to actually use your characters for real. All it takes is a reskin, the past story could be just as valid. Just because you drew these characters as pokemon doesn't matter; we know who they are if you reskin them.
I thought i'd do PMDU but now that I see Flora evolving , I am discovering it is a lot more fun to design the characters from scratch. The dedication from PK to the project also seems to be more intense than PMDU has the situation to provide in the near future. (I don't blame them, running groups is hard work and it takes some insanity to keep it up)

err to put it simply, I have 0 interest in joining flora..
I really don't want to be in another group run by PK, I'm excited about having new management in PMDU.
I never particularly liked the PMDE NPC cast anyways and I never had any interest in the canon group stories so if that's going to be a part of flora then I'm not really interested
designing characters from scratch is fun but I do that in my free time anyways. I generally don't want to design characters within the limitations of someone else's world, and don't really want to draw comics about them right now; I just keep them to myself xP. I love pokemon and want to draw pokemon specifically for these comics. pokemon is a big part of the appeal of these comics, for me.
so I can see why you would find flora appealing, but for about a billion reasons it's just not going to work for me xD

Well that is understandable. I used to have a need to draw pokemon, I wouldn't be an artist without pokemon influencing my life choises XD. It's been a really good platform, and I don't think I will ever stop drawing pokemon, but at the moment, my portfolio can't have any fanart without causing a lot of embarassement so it's best I focus on original work

I'm surprised that Pijums doesn't make a good gangster. I'm sure he could puruu everyone to death with cuteness if he wanted to!
