That's a good idea :> I try to not use fancy brushes too much but they are a huge timesaver.. Oh god, DS2 was so fun but so limited .__. I remember how there was no pen pressure so every line I drew, I had to erase the tip into a point to make it look less stiff xD

Same here~ I don't like using brushes that are too fancy since it makes me feel like I didn't actually draw it, if you know what I mean?
I use brushes that still have space for me to input my own skills into, rather than doing everything for me.
And yeah I remember that xD Also every drawing is forced to one layer, not to mention the limited paint.
The process was tedious but fun at the same time, kinda a weird combination hehe~!

I know what you mean xD When I first started using Photoshop, I was like ALL THE BRUSHES. SPAM THE GRASS BRUSH! Oh man, yeah, one layer and limited paint was the worsttt but still fun ^__^

Thank you, and my laptop has seemingly recovered...for now at least. All of a sudden the screen just came back on. I'm not so sure what'll happen after I power it off however.

Hmmm.. have you tried desaturating part of the artwork in photoshop? That would make it even better looking and point your focus on one spot, almost how I did with the portrait. You can come back and add more color over the gray areas which will make it more organic. Actually never mind you do, but it's so subtle in all your art that I barely even notice, you good! <3
