Description cataclysm raining down

phew, this took a while o v o
but i'm happy with how this mysterious merpon turned out !

i had this idea of a 'plain' black horse (on land) that turns a beautiful raven-esque iridescent when in their true element - water ~
this beauty's anatomical features are based on the leafy seadragon !
(ohh there's also little tribal lace-like markings on their legs, tail & face that appear in the presence of water, even in landform, for example when it rains?)
