Description I stand here
I can't move

I'm stuck in this hourglass of time.

Waiting,
just waiting
for someone to come save me.

To tell me the words
I've always wanted you to say.

That I'm good enough.
That someone out there wants me.
That someone out there knows me.
That someone out there actually does.
That someone out there cares for me.
That someone out there that
can take all my faults,
all my failures
and accept them all.
Accepting me.

The grains of time,
continues to fall.

I'm waiting,
just waiting
for someone to come save me.

I really enjoy this one as it reminds me of the scene from wizard of oz where dorothy is trapped in the hourglass. Time literally killing you is interesting...

Dorothy was trapped in the hourglass?
Honestly, I wasn't even thinking about time literally killing me.
I always found hourglasses interesting, but I like your observation way more.

And then the lion, scarecrow, and tin man come save her....wow i really love your poem. especially in that it captures that untintendedly. If only I could double fav it xD
