Description

[this is a CLOSED species]

The revamp of my Griffaca species finally has a reference! It's kinda simple but gives all the info that needs to be shown!

The only thing i didn't put that is SUPER important is, Griffacas ALWAYS have a septum piercing. Rare, common, ect. They can come in any color or shape possible that septum rings can be!

soooo
what is a Griffaca?

Griffacas are a mellow omnivore species. Some calm and quiet, while others can be very playful and loud.
Griffacas have of very soft and warm fur. Common Griffacas have shorter hair, while un-common Griffacas that normally live in colder environments have longer, wool like fur.
These creatures also have avian qualities. Bird-like front paws and feathered tails! Both able to come in a HUGE range of colours.
Now these beautiful creatures not only come in a huge rang of colors with their feathers! But their fur too!
Anything from basic sheep, llama and alpaca colors and markings to very complex, colorful and strange designs like their avian cousins!

Farmers and city-goers alike have found these gentle creatures wonderful, not just in companionship, but similar to sheep and Alpaca, un-common wool baring Griffaca can have the fur along their body shaved, sold, and made into very soft clothing and fabrics!

Other traits/info

Originally, the metal and plastic septum rings you see attached to most Griffaca's noses were to help farmers keep track of their herds. But now, it has become very popular and an excitement in the Griffaca owner community to get their pets beautiful septum rings. Some spending a very handsome sum on the amount or quality of the jewelry around their Griffaca's nose.

These cuties can also make all sorts of sounds! Including: Chirping, clicking and singing like many types of avian species! In fact, that is how they communicate with each other and their human companions. It's also a way for Griffacas to attract a partner.
Griffacas will sing, dance and offer food to a partnering Griffaca whom they have a crush on. It is Quite an adorable display~

Hatchlings/Babies

New born Griffacas are born via egg. Most commonly, a mother will have a nest from 2 to 6 eggs. Once born, the young Griffs stay very close to mother, and the nest. This is the time that a Griffaca breeder must get to know them. Griffacas are friendly but still feral creatures. Even babies will act nervous and shy when meeting a human for the first time.

But over all, these silly and cute creatures are loved by adults and children alike! If you see one be sure to be friendly and feed it tons of treats<3

I may add more later! If you have any questions or concerns let me know!~
