Description Made this a nice birthday gift for my crazy, Zelda fan friend

He came out maybe as 4.5-5 inches tall. Has a detachable sword and shield.... But unfortunately they can't attach themselves to the arms.... But my friend told me she's gonna go buy some Velcro and make them attach to the arms xD hehe

She really loved it and I'm happy : D worked hard on it! Proud of how it came out (: ā™„

Hope you guys like it as well.

Is the pattern you used a widely available one? My chibi plushes use a more deformed pattern, I want to try the one you used here to give the body/head a more proportional look.

[link]

When viewing it on the site, that is the original or very very close original size of the dolls I make with.

But when you download it the pattern seems to grow tremendously in size T-T

I saw for one of your dolls you used a base pattern by

That was the base pattern I used to start sewing chibi dolls(r got the inspiration of the pattern. I didn't the size of the body much so I started to experiment with it.

My preference of a chibi doll is having a slightly big head. So after I got the right sized head I want, I took another piece of paper and folded it in half and started to draw a preferred body size and shape. You can fold your head piece in half and place it on top of the other paper's fold and draw a body connecting to the head. after you have you likeable body, you can cut it out and unfold it. The reason why I like to fold paper and then make half the shape is because if I cut it out along the fold both sides would be even.

I think I rambled on way to much :c The patten I used for my Link and other dolls are ones I made but with inspirations other another's. If you'd like, I will gladly post my pattern for you to use (:

Yes, please! I will probably end up modifying it, but for now I feel it's easier to work with a ready-to-use pattern that gives good results.

Thanks in advance, and thanks for taking time to answer me

I got the original post, but don't worry about it. Thanks for the link. As far as size goes - looks about right to me, personally. Print size is usually smaller than the size on-screen.
