For context, this past comment was from me when I was a major anti-SJW lolcow. I never played the LIS game, but I saw the E;R review, where Maxine was shown to be a mediocre protagonist who fell in love with someone who murdered a dog (Chloe). Whether Maxine is better than I gave her credit for, I don't know.
