Shade from the up coming 'Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood' RPG game for the DS. When I first saw this character, I started liking her immediately 'cause I'm a black and white color scheme freak. I hope this character's back story doesn't disappoint me like that black hedgehog. His story suck!Anyway, thanks to ~jumpbird for tellin' me about this game, 'cause I don't look up new stuff on Sonic much.

Shade has only appeared in one game. She still has a chance to show that she has more personality than Blaze but then again, that won't be much of a challenge.

i will agree that shadow's game sucked. the character himself does not suck, that game seemed like a rush job. its like they just wanted to get more sales for their merchandise. that game should've been done better.

Fantastic artwork of her you have made---which is hard in case of fanart creations all over the world (heck...I don't even try- why would I want to slaughter my faves with my poor quality drawings..
I'm quite happy they tried to create a character from scratch, rather than clone Sonic again (as if Silver wasn't enough...), and have succeded in accomplishing their goals -she looks totally awesome!
Yet I feel bad for her---every new soul of Sonic's franchise gets rubbished and ruined by rabid fanbrats and I'm losing hope that she would escape this fate..

She is an echidna, because she has an attack called Echidna Rush!
I believe that the Marauders are the lost Nocturnus echidna clan! I don't know for sure yet cause I haven't finished the game..but the chances are pretty good since Shade is an echidna which would make the rest of her group echidnas too.
