Love the contrasts of shape and texture here (the more graphical clouds and dragon tail vs. the painterly textures in the foreground), and the storytelling is GREAT. Danta's neurotically compressed eyebrows, hahaha...

aah i want to see their dragon! i adore these bright scales, reminds me of old-school dragons! * v * i really love the implied movement here too- no SWOOSH lines or blurring but their hair, expressions and those tails really give you a feel for what's goin' on. i really like the stylised clouds as well. i also feel legitimately sorry for dantalion, poor thing! he's even crying! how the hell did sindh manage to coax him onto its back?
