The Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni cosplay photoshoot was yesterday~ It was interesting cus I had this closet cosplay planned forever ago... X3 I had just kinda completely forgot about it till Ryuzaki wanted to do the Higurashi photoshoot. =UI saw this anime over a year ago... maybe more... whenever it was new, I don't remember how long ago that was. xDD And I loooooved it, despite the gore. It's a beautiful storyline~ Mion and Shion are my favs, and Takano. Heck, they're all super cool! I'm planning on making a Shion cosplay though, since that was the person I originally wanted to cosplay. But I'm having wig problems with that one.
On another note, MION'S HAIR IS HEAVY GOSH DARN IT. >A>;; It kept kind of sliding down, I guess because I didn't put my wig on tight enough, so in some of the pics my hair looks kinda weird. SORRY ABOUT THAT. >A>;;

This is really cool! but...the hair bothers me slightly...mions is more of a light green...but then again all the wigs actaully made to look like her hair are that color XD

what kind of method did u use to get the hair in a ponytail, I'm doing a Mion cosplay too but i'm stuck for a simple solution (oh and getting the hair to stay de-tangled) if you could help that would be great!!!!

The wig I have is a short base wig with a ponytail extension, so I just clip it on and it's good. I'd really rather use a different wig for Mion though because the extension is VERY long and heavy. I do have other wigs that I have to style in ponytails though so I know that if you kind of twist it as you pull it up then it'll look more anime-esque. Make sure you brush it a lot! Always brush wigs at the bottom first and then work your way up to the top. I know at cons it can get a little crazy so you may have to take the ponytail out and brush it a few times. It's a pain, but sometimes ya gotta do it.
