On the picture: this is probably my favorite of the many Kiva pictures that have graced the frontpage. I like the lineart, it's not very complete but I like how her hair doesn't look so strange in this one as compared to the typical Kiva image where she has these strange two-pronged hair extensions on either side of her shoulders.
Okay, essentially, this is probably not a glitch. I've had people experiment by putting up intentionally terrible pictures with things like "Kiva" and "MegasXLR" in the title, and they don't instantly get the front page. It's basically someone (probably in the MegasXLR club, not saying they're all responsible) out there exploiting the magic of the F5 button to put these pictures on the frontpage. I'm not blaming anyone, it seems like a lot of these are just innocent fanartists.
And, please stop attacking the art of people who comment on how strange it is that these are making the frontpage. A lot of you tout the art of these Kivas to be a lot better than those who notice how they strangely wind up on the first page, but that's not the point! We're commenting on these pictures, not having an artfight.

You guys (who complains about this draw on the front page) suck, I would love to see if one of your lovely draws got front page'd, and a bunch of people went there just to complain like: "god, why? This suck, my art is much better" or "DA is putting some random sh*t on the front page again", gee... What would I pay to see your faces! Scum...
Anyway, a lovely draw indeed, I don't even know why the people are complaining, if was something like, The Kirby VS Zelda, I would quite understand, but really, here? There's about a lot of style in this draw, the pose, the pointy-body-parts, line thickness, that's really cool, I ll be sure to take a look at s2ka gallery!

I don't think the problem here is in quality (it's pretty good, actually), but rather in the fact that Kiva fan art seems to land on the front page at least once a week, regardless of how many faves/comments/views it has.

This is pretty well drawn, accurate body part sizes etc, but it doesn't seem to be completed (eg; coloring)
I agree this shouldn't be on the front page, but its still a well drawn picture

Maybe perhaps you don't do interesting drawings? Even if you slave your ass over something, that doesn't mean people will care about it if it's not their cup of tea. I just saw your gallery and believe me it's not that impressive, you should try to do at least something that people will like. Not that you have to do Kiva to get a front page but at least something interesting that people might like.
So instead of crying home for momma you should draw something different than you usually do.

hi. maybe you confused my confusion for anger. My intention was not to whine, or express frustration, but instead to point out my confusion over an apparent glitch in the system. Perhaps you should not take everything so seriously. I know I'm not the best. I know that and I'm just fine with it. I'm just annoyed that other very good works that would otherwise be given the honor of front page are being blocked out by a glitch. Good day.
