The first impression that Jett usually gives off to those that meet him is that he is a polite and collected individual who likes to flirt and generally cares for his surroundings, almost like a gentleman. The second impression that comes right after is that he is a condescending and smug asshole with the tendency to tease those around him and clearly thinks highly of himself, not sparing the others from pointing out their flaws and purposely gets on their nerves. This contrast of impressions comes from the fact that he enjoys watching the others react to his words and often tries to manipulate them in one way or another or gain their favor.

However, as annoying as he might be, Jett does not seek to gain himself enemies when he can avoid it. Being a vindictive person himself, he knows quite well that it is better to stay on the good side of people than suffer their wrath. As such, his interactions are usually somewhat of a juggling between teasing and fawning, threatening and complimenting, so that the others don't end up downright hating him and can still fall for his manipulations. Failing to keep this balance and ending up being someone's enemy, he would give up on the attempt to make things up pretty quickly and let all hell loose with sarcasm and insults, so long as he is not in a professional environment with them.

When it comes to work, Jett takes upon his job with the utmost seriousness, determined to complete his missions as fast and as good as possible and refrains from procrastinating on important things. He hates delays and unrelated menial tasks, so from time to time he tries to make other people do those for him.

Outside of work, He is very calm and easygoing. He likes to meet new people, spend his time lazing around or go and hang out at restaurants and casinos, if his budget allows him such luxury at the time. His risk-loving nature makes him very fond of challenges and bets, so he might become rather reckless and frantic in an attempt to get the most out of the situation. Luck and karma are a big deal for him, as he gives those principles a significant credit for the way his life goes. But if all fails, he wouldn't mind cheating to get the upper hand anyway.

While his usual behavior can be considered somewhat insufferable, Jett actually cares for his friends and allies as those are hard to come by. Upon finding out that something serious troubles them, he would listen to their problems carefully and seek to help them out in any way he can. Granted, he is not one to get emotional over things, but would absolutely hate to see someone he cares about suffer.

That dream was shot down rather quickly when he started developing a pair of rabbit ears. From there, the way to becoming a fraud and a gambler was short, and after that, joining BJBB was a pretty ironic yet obvious choice to make. ]

Jett was not born under the name he bears nowadays. He wasn't even born a rabbit hybrid to begin with. Up until a year ago, Jett was in fact Amato, a young human with different plans for his future. Very different from joining the famous bunny crime syndicate.

He grew up as the only child of two industrious parents; proud citizen of Pearson city. His mom was working in a surveillance devices development facility and his dad was the manager of a respected imports company. He studied in one of the more prestigious local schools of the city and proved to be an average student with pleasing grades, although his behavior was troubling. Amato often picked fights with his classmates, was sometimes rude to his teachers, and bullied those he thought were lesser than him. The few bunny classmates he had had somehow ended up being his favorite victims.
As the years passed, his parents grew sick of getting called by angry teachers to attend yet another unpleasant conversation with the principal, and decided to put Amato in a military academy with strict discipline to tame their troublesome child. It worked like magic, and soon he became one of the best students in his class. When he graduated, he wanted to enroll to the policing forces, and took pre-recruitment courses focusing on PORSA units.

Two weeks before the beginning of his sorting tests in the special unit, Amato began to have strange headaches. It was nothing, at first. Then they got more frequent and bothersome, and after a while no pill could ease the skull-splitting pain he felt so often.
One morning, after an especially rough night, he walked up to the mirror and noticed a change in his appearance. Running his hand through the hair, he noticed something that wasn't supposed to be there. There were two bumps on the sides of his head that started to look like... ears? it can't be. Did the pain drive him insane?
But there was no mistaking in this matter. He sat down on his bed, his head spinning with thoughts like a whirlwind. What is going on. This can't be happening. Not now, not to him. It is true that sometimes there were people with dormant rabbit genes in them- hell, probably half of the population in this city has those anyway. But why did they wake so suddenly. Cool sweat washed over him as he thought about the consequences of this. His hope to work for PORSA was shattered entirely. His family will disown him if they find out. His entire life is ruined.
There is not much to do now, is there. He got up with a sudden motivation, turning his small apartment upside down in a search for a pen and paper, which weren't the easiest items to come by nowadays since they were practically useless. But they should serve him just fine for this purpose. In a daze, Amato scribbled some nonsense he barely minded or thought of thoroughly on the paper, folded it and put it on his desk, not far from his bed. Next, he walked to the kitchen, took a small container out of the medicine cupboard and carried it back to his previous location. His heart was racing in his chest and his breath was unstable as he took off the lid and poured all the pills that were left inside the container onto his palm. He raised his hand to his mouth, trying to calm down as he opened it. Looks like that's the end of it. The rabbits won. He almost chuckled.
But then he grimaced, lowering his hand slowly. His thoughts suddenly slowed down, like a car mired down in quicksand.
Hold on just a second. Should that really be the end of it? Did he come this far just to end up in this miserable situation? He stood up with the same slowness almost as if he was drunk, slightly shifting in his place, unsure what to do. The few pills that were in his mouth left a bitter taste even after he spit them into a garbage can and threw away the ones in his palm. He took the suicide letter he wrote just a few minutes ago, read it slowly and squinted his eyes. How gross. How pathetic. With a pen in his hand again he rewrote the letter, crossing out some parts entirely and leaving little of the original text. Yes. That's more like it. He put the letter down, his eyes tiredly staring at the wall but his mind strangely awake.

By sunset Amato has already gathered all of his important belongings, withdrew all of the money he had on his account and got rid of a decent pile of personal documents. The suicide letter was thrown away and replaced with a less dramatic short message sent to both of his parents in which he explained that he got involved in some trouble and had to run out of the city in a heartbeat. Which he would have liked to do, but with his growing problem it was less than likely that he'd succeed. He spent the next day hanging out around places he'd usually avoid as a future cop; shady alleys and underground hideouts with quality folk who would make anyone a fresh new fake identity for the right amount of money. Amato, who was now named Jett, slept in hostels and ranted small rooms for a while, but as time passed, with no job or a steady source of money, he was forced to give up on those luxuries and found himself a place in a small abandoned apartment at the forsaken parts of the town.

The transformation was complete about a month after it started. Other than the obvious sudden appearance of long black rabbit ears, his senses seemed to be somewhat sharper, and along with those changes Jett started to feel a growing irritation with the city and its rules. It was as if his entire life lead to this point where karma round-kicked him hard right in the face.

It made no difference if he was guilty or innocent. With his fresh new genetic change, he naturally attracted suspicious glances from the non-bunny citizens. The police officers had their hands on the hilts of their weapons when he merely passed by, and once he was almost arrested just because he was at the wrong place at the wrong time.
So he decided that there is no use playing by the rules anymore.
Casinos and bars quickly became his new favorite places of dwelling. An evening in which he did not play a round of poker or engage in a friendly brawl was a rare occasion, and with that he started having some decent savings for a rainy day.
But this kind of activity can't go unnoticed forever. Especially with the rising activity of that group, BJBB. Soon enough PORSA was all over the place, up and ready to arrest every happy-go-lucky bunny that would dare to enter their field of vision.
It was getting pretty troublesome. That group was becoming a serious obstacle for him. But what could he do against them? probably nothing. Of course, there was another way around. As the saying goes- if you can't fight them, join them.
And that's exactly what he did.
