Day 9 Houndoomthis was a tie between houndoom and charizard, hence why he's in the background. i not sure why i like houndoom a little more then charizard but i think it may be for the design of its bone like armor. hopefully with this different coloring technique will help me catch up in this little challenge.

-AHEM- I happened to be around this part of deviantart, with nothing better to do, so I decided to give this a nice little crituiqe with; guess what ~PICTURES~ What I did was prettymuch take your image, ghost in a drawing program, and drew over it some notes I took, trying to replicate the pose.

Now, Redhead made several points already, and all of them are valid so I'll save you the explanation, I would have more pictures, but I'm afraid my tablet decided for me no more drawing tonight. ANYWAY, notice how the back leg is, with that bit between the actual leg and the thigh? Imagine that like your own thigh. without it your calf would be directly attached to the hip. if that was on a human. it would look rather silly now wouldn't it?
Now your pose I couldn't really understand what you where going for. it looked like you where trying to do an odd sort of pinup of the poor dear, but lets all remember; Houndooms still a dog! and is gunna act like a dog. so try with more natural pose, and even try drawing the pokemon itself a few times if it looks a little odd on the first go!... As for that tail, it seems to start going up a liiittle too far up the back there.

Okay, you wanted a critique from me, so here ya go:
Her tongue looks like a noodle party streamer thing and doesn't really look like a normal tongue. If you were trying to do a triangular-shaped tongue, they're thicker in the back of the mouth.
Her other horn isn't visible. It's a giant horn, so only some of it should be hidden, but not all of it. Houndoom's head isn't big enough to cover it.
Her back thigh looks like a tire pump inflated it. Actually, it seems you just ended up fusing her rump with her thigh. While this would be more plausible if she were sitting, when standing canine legs do not work that way.
Giraffe neck.
Back looks broken. Dogs have straight backs, while their chest and underbellies form the curves.

didnt think the tongue was that bad, but i do like the way you put it. as for the horn i think the other one is behind the visibe one at this ange. i had a feeling the back leg despite trying to fix it ended up looking wrong anyway, but i didnt think it looked like a tire pump inflated it. well i guess this wasnt a very good drawing

whoa whoa I wouldn't go as far to say it's terrible. I realize I might have written the critique a little rudely. Sorry about that.
On a more positive note, it looks like you're utilizing the airbrush/watercolor technique nicely.

dont worry about it, you did have valid points. i wasn't really trying to screw up the anatomy of a dog like this but then again i wasn't going for a accurate anatomy either. sorry if i seemed insecure there about that.

Well it's to long. Kinda looks more like a snakes tongue but without the forked end. Then just add another horn behind the head and to the left a little bit of the other one.
