Uh... it's not a copy. They're both kids shows with cute monsters that change into stronger monsters. Monster Rancher has kids with monsters too, is that also a copy? e_e (We'll ignore the fact the the two "copy" shows both have actual stories, compared to the "HAY GUYS LET'S RUN AROUND CITIES AND CATCH ALL THE MONSTERS!!!1 Oh, and give them away later.")
And Pokemon had it's share of stupid songs too, they were just shown after the episodes (most of the time).
