Another Alexa pencil, one of the action poses from my Character & Object Design final
Materials/Time:
- Blue Line Pro art board
- Mechanical pencil
- Photoshop CS (cleaned up lineart)
- roughly a 45 mins

Well not too hard because the leg and one arm are simply semi-hidden with foreshortening, the only thing I had trouble on was her left arm and hand with the gun

*nods* I actually got tired of drawing my characters standing there like a lot of artists do.... so the fact that we *needed* action poses for the projects and assignments meant I got more practice at something that looks more interesting lol

I only had a side photo of the gun I modelled hers on XD so I took a guess and incorporated a vanishing point into the gun view like I learned from my drawing class

WOW! Your mastery of anatomy is... wow. *envies* And perspective... *envies a LOT* Gorgeous action pose Mecha. I am so impressed with all of your work lately!! It's a very real looking running pose, very convincing. I love how her hair flows and the look of determination/concentration on her face. Awesome. I think I have to +fave again!

Well if you lived around here I could teach you some stuff ^__^ I do that with a couple of my friends at school. I think all the action poses I did were really easy for me to do cause I started out doing loose sketches, getting a feel for the movement of the character. I have an entire page of my sketchbook that's got body shapes scribbled all over it lol
