Here's a quick pic I drew for my cousin who recently got hooked on OP..courtesy of yours truly~>: DHe asked for a ShanksxLuffy pic.. and I kinda just came up with this.. I love poking fun at the English dubbed version, if you can't tell XDDD^^ I always got a kick outta the whole "gum gum" thing.. but I guess it would sound kinda odd if he was always saying "Rubber Rubber.." instead *___* More reason to just watch the Japanese version~
Anyway, so Luffy's practicing some new "Gum Gum" moves until Shanks intervenes~>: ) It amuses me how Shanks sometimes acts more childish than Luffy does.. they're both about the same though..

Oh my frickin goddddd this is too adorable for words! EEE! <3333 (Also, about Shanks XD I know, right? That's one of the things I love so much about him. Like back when we first met him and he was all bad ass saving Luffy from the bandits, and then Luffy and the bandit disappear, and he gets all "AAA~ WHAT DO WE DO?!!" hahaha XD This picture is so great because it invokes those kinds of memories for me.

Tis is more the reason you should watch the Japanese version. Gum Gum doesn't really make sense while Gomu Gomu No makes sense since it translates to Rubber Rubber and Luffy is a Rubber man. :3
