A drawing of the aeon Shiva from Final Fantasy XShe was my favourite aeon and was really fun to draw, i got really into this picture
Spent about 4 - 5 hours on this i think while watching Boxing Day t.v!
Really impressed with it, although i do not like the right eye so much...
but i hope it looks ok
Used: A4 cartidge paper, HB pencil, a variety of blue colouring pencils, purple / orange / yellow / black / brown colouring pencils.

Yeah i loved Shiva too... i used her about the same amount of times as Bahamut... he was too strong too not use xD

I like the different shade of blues and the expression she has. Very nice work.

Overall, not a bad job. My word of advice is with the braid in the bottom left corner. In your drawing it kind of just looks like a bunch of random circles; I only could figure out it was supposed to be part of the hair when I went to the original image. So in this case I would have actually added texture (perhaps "hair lines") so the viewer would know it wasn't something random.
But overall it definitely keeps the essence of Shiva; good job!

Lol, well you are better than me, for an art student i am terrible with giving advice to people on here, which is why i hardly comment peoples work because i never really have something to say except 'i like it.' Shows what i learnt at college, i don't really consider myself to be a 'good artist' either =/

No not yet, i have the game but not played it yet. Only X, nearly finished X-2 and some of VII.

Her face should look a bit sharper, IMO, but that's great (also, I like people who colour things using pencils, rather than their computers...).
