Hurr....that always happens. It's kind of like McCoy around Andrew and T'Sei while T'Sei's still unconscious. 'She has pon farr, Andrew. What are you going to do?' 'What?' 'It's pretty obvious.' 'Oh.' I think he has 2 modes--serious doctor mode and amused let's-make-fun-of-everyone mode. They switch back and forth. Another reason why he and Ruanek are eventually BFFs...kind of. (By the time of Vulcan's Heart in the normal universe. Heh.)

He's not grumpy except perhaps when on Vulcan, if he ends up accompanying them there (which he likely will.) Ruanek actually has a pretty great life at Vulcan, at least in the books he's actually in (Vulcan's Heart, etc) because science not for warfare is NOT accepted at Romulus. Which, of course, made Tarek's life so much easier.

well im planning episodes in between so only a couple of months.

this is hard to explain without giving too much away... ok, something big happens in the plot that affects a lot of people. Then there is this space of time (i think it's gonna be about a year) where some episodes happen (about a month or two of time lapses b/w each) and then another big thing happens in the plot. Then, I'm only planning one more story after that happens, which will probably take at least 2 episodes to do.
